About Us!

Like so many kiwi businesses, Bits4bots started off as a little garage business back in 2016. 6+ years on and we now operate out of a sizeable warehouse and even have a showroom for customers to come in and buy in store in Mt Roskill. 

 Back when we first started out, we found the cost of 3D printing filament in NZ was rather high and made 3D printing inaccessible. This found us importing filament from a few different brands to try and test, with a focus on performance consistency and affordability. The outcome of this saw us settling on eSun as our preferred 3D printing filament brand. We don’t just sell 3D printing filament, we also use and test these ourselves. When you come in store you can see our sample prints across filament type and colour to get a better feel for the final 3D print quality. 

 We pride ourselves in our service and are always happy to have a chat and help out. While we have historically been a predominantly 3D printing filament supplier, we now also sell an array of other 3D printing related items like E3D hotends and extruders, and Duet3D boards and sensors. We have a suite of 3D printers ourselves that allow us to also provide 3D printing services, ideal for any prototyping and small batch manufacturing needs.

2022 will see us collaborating with more reputable brands bringing you the best of 3D Printing under one roof.
